POMWA Parent testimonials:

"This is hands down the best safety education class I have ever attended, including those taught by law enforcement"- Renton Parent.

"The workshop was way better than I thought it would be. I learned so much!" Redmond Parent

What about the safety needs of older kids (14+) ?

As kids grow older they change and so do the safety issues that they face as young adults.
By age 18 17.7% of Males and 82.2% of females have experienced sexual harassment by teachers or staff at their school. 13.5% of those students have had sex with those teachers or staff.
  • Think your child is "too old" for a safety class?
  • Think they already "know better"?
  • THINK AGAIN.
P.E.A.C.E of Mind helps parents build a great foundation of safety for families with children under the age of 14. However, older children still need guidance! Their needs are different and we have found a program that does a wonderful job addressing the unique safety issues that young adults face. If you have a teen we highly recommend  Taking one of the workshops offered by Larry Kaminer at Personal Safety training group. This is a great program that is designed with teens and their parents in mind!
